For over 17 years, CareerConnection has a history of facilitating networking and individual job placement challenges for its membership in a positive, results-oriented fashion. Our initiative – Hire DFW First – created to proactively approach companies about open positions and build cooperative relationships for mutual benefit.
Hire DFW First offers DFW professionals valuable resources, contacts and tools to facilitate their job search and better manage their career.
CareerConnection members are those hard-to-find, highly qualified professionals that businesses need. Since 1992, we have connected over 30,000 professionals with companies throughout the DFW Metroplex. Currently, CareerConnection is supporting members in 15 Career Management Groups which include Senior Executive members, Mid-level members and a multitude of Disciplines/Industry professionals.
Our Services
The CareerConnection connects professionals with top-quality companies to meet their individual career needs. To accomplish this, we have developed a series of services to assist both Associate and Sustaining members.
For Associate members who are actively engaged in a career search, and Sustaining members who are currently employed but are interested in advancing their careers, we provide the following services:
- A searchable database of pre-qualified local open positions and thousands of members with contacts at area companies.
- General meetings to network with other professionals and better your career management skills and capabilities.
- Career Management Groups specific to your specialty or interest and your geographic needs.
- Invitation-only Executive Roundtable and Mid-level Executive Groups to give you the opportunity to work with people at your level facing similar challenges and opportunities.
- Individual coaching opportunities.
