Please forward this e-mail to individuals who have been laid-off in North Texas and encourage them to participate.
Have you been laid-off from a job within the last 5 years?
Whether you are currently employed or still unemployed, this survey applies to you. The NTTC, in conjunction with the University of Texas at Arlington, is currently conducting a Second Layoff Survey as a follow-up to the Layoff Survey we conducted in May 2003 to determine the current status of the North Texas employment situation. We are seeking to understand the effects the layoffs have had on you and your family as well as the North Texas region. As well, we are learning about the methods individuals are using to seek employment and what methods have been successful. When the follow-up study is completed, the NTTC will publish the results on its Website and release the results to the press, as well as to our local congressmen and senators so they will have a better understanding of the economic and work situations in North Texas.
If you'd like a copy of the Layoff Survey Report we issued in July 2003 from the first survey, you can obtain a copy by clicking on the link to download the report when you take the Second Layoff Survey, or respond to this e-mail and we will forward you a copy.
